I never had a Wiimote that comes with Wii Motion Plus until 2 days ago. I received the one I mail-ordered from Amazon, and found that it constantly lost connection. So I returned it, and brought a Wiimote with Wii Motion Plus from Target. I found that the packaging had the Wii U logo on it (unlike the one I received from Amazon, which definitely is an older one), and so far everything seemed to work fine .... except when I used it on my hacked old Wii.
The new wiimote with motion plus FAILED to be recognized after I loaded USBLoader. Combined this and my experience of NOT able use new Wiimote with Nexus 7 and such, it seemed to show that the older wiimote is more hacking friendly. Granted, there's work around, but now I have more incentive to take better care of my classic Wiimote.

Failed Wiimote Plus
I ordered a blue Wiimote Plus conrol from Amazon.com, thinking of using it with my Wii U exclusively, so that my original Wiimote (with Wiimote plus add on) can be used by older Wii. The Wiimote Plus was arrived yesterday, and I used it to play New Super Mario Bros U for about 2 hours, and it worked fine.
Odd thing happened when later, I tried the new Wiimote Plus with the Wii U game Wii Sport Club. During the game, I constantly experienced the WiiMote disconnecting itself. I had that problem when I played Local, played Online, close to the screen, away from the screen, with 3 different sets of battery ... It problem just kept happening. Finally I just fed up, and used my old Wiimote with Wiimote Plus add on, and it worked FLAWLESSLY. I even tried my older Wiimote with the same battery used in the new blue Wiimote Plus in order to prove that it's not the battery's problem.
So obviously the Wiimote wasn't working right. And so for the first time I need to return something to amazon.com thru UPS dropoff.

Ultra shop comments on games I tried at Nintendo promotion booth
I went to the Nintendo promotion booth at shopping mall today, and seriously tried quite some games. Here's my comments:
Sonic: the Lost World (Wii U) - I enjoy the game, but not enjoy enough to buy it right away. The price already dropped to US$29.99 .
Wii U Party (Wii U) - Fair. Totally makes no sense to buy it as I only play games with myself.
Mario 3D World (Wii U) - Great game, but I don't feel like paying $59.99 for it. I will keep waiting until the price drop to 39.99 and lower.
Rayman Legend (Wii U) - The game for fun for a while, and I got stuck at 2nd level and eventually gave up.
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (3DS) - Great game play, great graphic and effect ... my only problem is that I have too many games already in progress. So I will wait til this game drop to 19.99 ... or after I exhausted my current 3DS games.
