Hack is good
The future I proceed, the more I found that some level in Super Mario Galaxy 2 is more a torture than fun. Luckily, hack like infinite life makes the game a bit more enjoyable. Hack is good.

Still no GameCube games on Wii
After reading some post about loading GameCube game on softmoded Wii, I was tempted to give it a try. But when I realized that I need to update the cIOS, I was a bit hasitate, worrying that it will eventually messed up my machine. So I only downloaded a few loader, tried, failed, and then gave up.
There is something called "Backup Launcher v.0.2", which is a .dol. But then I am a bit chicken on installing a channel like that. So I didn't try it.
On a completely related note, I found out that my USBLoaderGX is already in 2.0 simply by running the Update feature within USBLoaderGX. Nice.
After trying HomeBrew browser, I found it less amazing than I expected. Tried a few applications are they seem to be a bit outdated. Granted I didn't try too many crazy apps worrying that it will mess up my Wii after all.

Homebrew Browser, OMG
I haven't been paying attention to the Wii homebrew scene for a while. I mean, I was able to play the games I enjoyed for far, so what else do I care about that scene anyway.
That is, until I start to realize the "Ocraina" option on the USB Loader EX screen. Read some forum messages, and I realized that I am able to use it to cheat on games, which I was like "SUPER" because I dont' really have much time to play games, but I still want to enjoy it. And I am just playing solo, so no harm done to the others.
And then I realized that I need to install something called "Homebrew Browser", which I was like, what the hell is that. I went ahead follow the instruction and set it up. Well I did downloaded the 2 apps, but eventually, I found out that USB Loader GX actually has build in support for downloading cheat directly. So I don't need to mess with those Homebrew. Maybe later, when I bored, and want to install some emulator and such.
I tried the cheat for "Donkey Kong Country Return" and it worked great. Strange thing though: the game now require me to put in the disc. No problem, I was like, but I don't know whether it's the cheat that requires me to put in the disc, or the new USB Loader GX caused it so.
And hell, so glad that there is cheat code, because otherwise I wouldn't be able to reach Level 4 in NO More Heores (one).

USB Loader GX won't load games it previously did
Got into this piece of shit siutuation: USB Loader GX won't load games it previously did, just like a lot of people experienced in this forum thread.
It all started yesterday when I got "the Last Story" JAP edition. I tried to install the game but got in some crazy error while ripping it. Rebooted the machine and found that the entry was there, but everytime I selected it, it hangs up the whole machine.
Eventually I decided to update the USB Loader GX to the latest version. That seemed solved the problem. I was able to erase the problem entry, and also able to install the game "the Last Story".
The problem, though, is that afterward there are quite some games that DOES NOT RUN anymore. For instance, New Super Mario Bros was hanging after I selected the level. Mario Kart Wii was plain NOT WORKING, giving me the black screen,
Interesting enough, not all games are dead. Super Mario Galaxy 2, for instance, was working great. So I am now in a very odd limbo situation.
I am now trying to delete and reinstall Mario Kart Wii and see if that will help solving the problem.
